terrain

Be a gardener and homemaker in high style.  terrain has the most amazing stuff! I work at a CSA farm (though more at my computer than at the farm {sigh}) and this store makes me want to run over and grab any extras to start canning and preserving.









Run over the terrain, run run.  This is the coolest place.

  1. ok- can i ask you a silly question? how do you eat canned vegetables? do you heat them up?? i love jams & jellies.. but i'm scared of the veggies, because i'm not sure what to do with them later on! {obviously, this girl did not grow up on a farm!!}

  2. no silly questions! the answer is yes and no. if you've made pickles, those would be cold. but if you canned green beans or something, i would heat them up with something fresh to make them taste even better. you could heat garlic in olive oil and then add a squeeze of lemon and top with fresh herbs or chopped toasted nuts or both!! while i didn't actually *grow up* on a farm, I try to think I did. just such a romantic thought. :)
