The Loverly List
Everyone in blogland has a love list with a fancy name. I keep imagining my dad's mom, Nana, singing the chorus "wouldn't it be loverly." So, that's where this title was born. I think it'll help me clear out all those great list of things I was saving to post about for an individual post but might never get to.
And the big elephant in the room is that you haven't seen me post as regularly as I had in the past. I hope that's ok with you. I'm in the midst of possibly the busiest craziest time I hope to have in my little families life. Me with two little sweeties and two or more PT jobs, husband working FT/graduating law school/taking the bar/developing projects. I look forward to a slightly more loosened schedule. It'll be here soon enough. Until then, I hope to see you a few times a week, if only one blog date a week. :)
Introducing my loverly list. I hope you like it. I have listed below 10 of my lastest and greatest finds. Enjoy.

1. I want to make this. I'm sure I won't. Still fascinated by sewing but don't have the patience and time just yet.

2. That grey kick pleated skirted table. Love love love it!

3. Chelsea's Leopard Sperry Top Siders. No way. I'm not into leopard usually but this is the perfect juxtaposition. {Tea Talk}
4. Homemade party in a box. For those of us without much time but want that special feel. I love this.{Acme Party Box}
5. This toddler high chair. One of my favorite color combos. {found here}
6. This kit house. Backyard yoga studio, play area, art studio, meditation room, reading room.... {kitHAUS}
7. That shelf that I wish were a giant bench. I just can't stop looking at it. Beautiful. {found here}
8. This t-shirt from local etsy seller. Perfect Valentine's Day duds. {Finley and Oliver}
9. This shower curtain. Our master bath is always lacking something to me. Maybe something like this would do it. {saw it here}
10. Oh Joy's pickle pic. I'm salivating. I really want to learn to can/preserve this year. {pic}

Restoration Hardware paint color matches
I am excited to have a link to these supposed matches to RH paint colors. I love love RH Silver Sage, I've bathed a few walls and got meeself matching drapes a few years back.
It's a little green, a little grey, a little blue. It's the perfect paint color. It's just nice and pricey. So, this list is great for us folks on a DIY budget. Thanks Jaimee Rose for your tip.

Rocking chair for Gretchen
So I don't have an inch of room for another thing in Gretchen's room but I'd really love this rocking chair for those times when she needs a bit more cuddling and care. I love this chair from Urban Outfitters.

Our Halloween Home
Before we get to the creepy stuff, here's the new wreath and door mat we found at the Smith and Hawkin section of Tarjay a few months ago. I just love the rosewood wreath. And the suzani-style mat is just so cheery.
Here's more of what we did today. I brought out our spooky tree so that Patrick and I could load it up with our mini Halloween colored and pumpkin ornaments.
I also made my first bunting {ever} with darling orange and black plaid ribbon and a cobweb adorned napkin found at our local Hobby Lobby. We also picked up the monogrammed pumpkin for the front door at HL. We'd never been before today. It was our outing for the day and Gretchen's midday nap.
Our red-dyed sunflowers from Trader Joe's {originally purchased for Sean's birthday} have started to droop and I thought they looked fitting for this creepy holiday.
I bundled up our first Fall rose blooms and plunked them in one of my favorite glass cups. They're hanging out next to one of Frank's turban squash.
We made two strands of bunting. This is the one we hung in the living room.
Lastly, {and unrelated to Halloween} here's a little peek at my latest craigslist find. A soft and cozy recliner wingback where we slip on our shoes - and pull over to the living room for movie viewing. I know, Summer is over and that little spot looks a bit beachy. But, having grown up by the beach, I feel like it's Summer all year long. And the beach really is that direction {about 400 miles ahead} as is our swimming pool, which will continue to get some use if our weather continues to top out in the 90's.

BHG
My grandmother gives me her used Better Homes and Garden's magazines and I'm mighty grateful. I'm really loving the great recipes and homes featured. These were from this last month.
I love the driftwood mirror and pair of black side chairs. I also am toying with the idea of built-in seating for our kitchen nook. Oooh, and I'm thinking storage under the seating. Must get started on this project.

Eat, Drink And Be Merry Chandelier
I'm in the market for a chandelier for my dining room and I just think this is so slick. I don't have 5,000 bucks. Poo. Still, it's pretty to look at.

Naked books
Coco + Kelly's blog introduced me to Coralie Bickford-Smith. She is the very talented senior cover designer at Penguin Books and boy does she make some pretty stuff.

Looking at this is motivating me to do what Alexis did with her books on her bookshelf one evening. Though I'm nervous to do it myself...for what reason, I don't know. I think my books would look much sexier on the shelf like this:

Lonny Mag
This new online magazine concept is just so genius. You get fast access to new issues. You get clickable links to the products and you can easily grab images to share with your friends, blog or keep for your computer's favorites folder.
Here are a few things I loved in this new issue. I want to curl up on this soft beachy sofa and this serene cozy bedroom.

Umbrellas
I haven't quite yet finished Gretchen's nursery. Ok, she's 2 months old already but she still sleeps in a bassinet next to our bed. I still have some time before she actually lives in the room. I need to do a few more things and then I'll post pictures.
I wanted to show you the photo that inspired her room. Isn't this lovely? I've seen it all over the internet and am not exactly sure where it originated. If you know, please do tell!

I want this kitchen
I found this on Full House via Melaine over @ My Sweet Savannah via HGTV here. Wherever it came from, I'm glad they've forwarded it along 'cause it's getting saved on my computer for future reference once we redo our kitchen...someday.
I love the white and grey marble countertops and the open breezy style. I want to head to the farmer's market and bring my goods over there and start cooking. Of course my friends would gather around the table and we'd swing the doors open to watch the kids play.
