If you are in need of a play place for the kids (old and young) and have no where else to go...go to Balboa Park. We always love the carousel and walking the park. My dad has been riding this same carousel since he was a kid more then 50 years ago.
The Arts and Crafts area is another favorite. Every where you turn it's something magical.
It's a bit like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz but more of a rainbow brick road.
