Affogatos





Isn't this the most beautiful spread for after dinner sweets and coffee.  Well, how about melding the two.  Affogatos.  

I first learned/tried this when I was in training in Seattle with Starbucks.  I was learning all about coffee "tastings" and how to teach people how to make and serve great coffee.  Each morning of our training we had a new presentation of a Starbucks beverage.  There were tea tastings, coffee with chocolate, coffee with lemon cake but the absolute knock out was the affogato morning.

If you haven't done this yet at a dinner party, you absolutely have to.  

It's divine.  Hot cold sweet bitter...sigh. :)
